Mysterious buyer

The reason why this matter has attracted local attention in Sardinia is because the mansion is known as one of the ‘five high-end estates in the Mediterranean’. The mansion sits on 4 hectares and has 3 private beaches, 49 guest rooms, a movie room, a helipad and a private swimming pool.

The buyer was identified as Nani Wang. And her name is the same as that of a former board director of JD Health International. JD Health International is the healthcare arm of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com.

She did not use installments, nor did she buy through an offshore company in the Cayman Islands to avoid tax. On April 8, she deposited 80 million euros directly into the Swiss bank account of an American landlord.

However, the Italian media did not know the exact identity of the mysterious female billionaire. So they just called her background as a ‘Chinese e-commerce giant’, 33 years old, born in Jiangsu Province, China.
